H&L Performance Billet Cylinders and heads are born from certified 6061-T aluminum.  Solid blocks of stock are precision milled,  one by one,  on some the the latest vertical machine technology.  Each set of heads is hand-ported and flow bench tested to match engine performance to great looks.

Head porting is where it really happens, and we begin the process by hand, which only a few people in the industry really know how to do precisely.  We have put years of carving and flowing experience into our proprietary port design to make sure that our motors perform as great as they look.  Our port design ensures optimum air flow and velocity through the heads into the combustion area.  The combination of precise air flow and big bores gives you ultimate performance without compromise.

H&L's engines come show-polished,  with two-piece H&L billet rocker boc covers,  H&L billet cam cover, H&L billet push rod tubes,  H&L 7075 billet lifter blocks,  H&L billet oil pump,  Ross Racing pistons,  H&L fly wheels and rods,  Ultima crankcases,  S&S Carburetor,  Ferrea Racing one-piece stainless calves,  2.100" intake,  1.750" exhaust (2.200" upgrade is available) and Dyna single fire ignition.  Every engine is pre-run before shipping.
